As the year winds down, the events are stacking up!
There’s so much to do in our local Palm Beach County, it’s hard to pick my favorites, but here they are:
Spa and Wellness Month – For the entire month of October, Palm Beach county’s award-winning spas and wellness centers will offer exclusive and limited-time prices. Choose from massages, facials, group yoga classes, pink smoothies and more – and it’s all for a great cause! In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, every participating business will donate a portion of its proceeds to the Palm Beach County chapter of the American Cancer Society. New this year are three new fitness activities: a fitness crawl through downtown West Palm Beach, bootcamp classes at FITTEAM Ballpark of The Palm Beaches, and District Fit, a three-day festival featuring glow yoga, fun runs, and a vegan-inspired dinner. Oktoberfest – The American German Club of The Palm Beaches hosts Oktoberfest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the second and third weekends of October starting October 12. Enjoy authentic German meals, including authentic bratwurst and schnitzel, while sipping imported beers and 30 different types of liquor. Live entertainment from original Oktoberfest bands direct from Germany will also accompany arts and crafts, carnival games, folk dancing, and vendor displays. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/1wlOiie
Jupiter Fall Fest – We may not have turning leaves, but everyone knows nothing beats fall in Florida! Located in The Plaza Down Under on the Riverwalk, this festival kicks off the fall season and celebrates the return of our seasonal residents. Enjoy live music, food from local vendors, a beer garden and a kids carnival. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 6 starting at noon until 5pm. For more info: https://bit.ly/2DFURdA
The Gardens Mall Spooky Soiree – Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy a ghoulishly good time at the second annual Spooky Soirée in the Grand Court at The Gardens Mall on Friday, October 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. This family-friendly Halloween event includes trick-or-treating at participating stores, haunted photo opportunities, costume contests and much more! Adult guests won’t be tricked – in fact, they will be treated to a complimentary, Halloween-themed cocktail from BRIO Tuscan Grille. For more information: https://bit.ly/2NMFGUx
Boo At The Zoo – Your kids can enjoy a not-so-scary Halloween at the Palm Beach Zoo! Now in it’s 20th year, the event will run the last two weekends of October, starting on October 19. Sponsor contributions have brought in over 125,000 pieces of wildlife friendly candy! This is a safe and fun trick-or-treat environment for children of all ages!
